PIONAIR™ Air Treatment Systems

The PIONAIR air treatment system is
recommended by Dr. Jordan Rubin.
Jordan S. Rubin, N.M.D., Ph.D.

Dr. Rubin and his family use our product and recommend that you do too!

The challenge with most air filters or purifiers is that air must be drawn to the unit, either through natural air flow, or through the use of a fan. This method results in uneven treatment and can leave pockets of polluted air, plus fans are noisy, subject to failure, and require higher levels of electricity.PIONAIR Air Treatment System

Unlike most air purifiers, the PIONAIR™ Air Treatment System doesn't wait for pollutants to contact a filter or plate. Instead, the PIONAIR generates air-purifying technology that migrates through the area and neutralizes organic odors, microbes, & molds at their source. As a result, the PIONAIR produces fresh clean air throughout your home or office uniformly, by addressing the pollutant source - without the use of fans, filters, or plates.

The PIONAIR is especially effective against mold, mildew, organic odors, and chemical vapors (such as formaldehyde). The PIONAIR is also effective against pollen, dust, pet dander, and smoke, although for maximum relief from these types of particulate, we recommend our new PIONAIR SMART POINTE system.

The SMART POINTE uses the same technology as our original PIONAIR system, with he added benefit of actively-generated negative ions.  These actively-generated negative ions clear the air of particulate FASTER than the original PIONAIR system.  Therefore, the PIONAIR SMART POINTE is effective against particulate such as pollen, dust, pet dander, and smoke, AS WELL AS mold, mildew, organic odors and chemical vapors (such as formaldehyde).

Since many allergic reactions are triggered by airborne particulate, the SMART POINTE is a perfect choice for those of us who suffer from allergies.  The SMART POINTE is also an excellent choice for anyone contending with high concentrations of pollen, dust, pet dander, or smoke.

For maximum effect, the PIONAIR is intended for around-the-clock use. The system consists of a base unit and a lamp module. Coverage area depends on the lamp module, which comes in four strengths: 350 sq. ft., 750 sq. ft., and 1500 sq. ft. The lamp modules are interchangeable, giving you flexibility to use the system in various locations. There are no moving parts or filters to clean, and the system is as quiet as a light bulb!

PIONAIR FAQ

Q: Should I choose the SMART POINTE or Standard PIONAIR?
A: If you are struggling with airborne particulate, such as pollen, dust, pet dander, or smoke, choose the SMART POINTE. If you do not have airborne particulate, choose the Standard PIONAIR. Both the Standard and the SMART POINTE are effective against mold, mildew, organic odors, or chemical vapors (such as formaldehyde).

Q: Which model do I need: 350, 750, or 1500?
A: The PIONAIR is engineered to treat different size areas. The technology will go around corners, but does not go through walls or closed doors. The 350 models treat up to 350 sq. feet, and are best for single rooms, like offices or bedrooms. The 750 models treat up to 750 sq. feet, and are best for combination rooms, like a kitchen/dining room. The 1500 models treat up to 1500 sq. feet, and are best for large open areas or most apartments or condos. You may want multiple units for your home - especially if you have upstairs rooms. The PIONAIR is lightweight, so you can easily move it from room to room.

Q: Where should I locate my PIONAIR system?
A: Many pollutants, such as smoke, are lighter than air, and therefore, rise. For best performance, locate your unit as high as possible, usually 5-6 ft. above the floor. You may wish to locate your unit where odors are particularly offensive or strong, such as a smoking room, kitchen, or near a litterbox. Multiple units may be used for larger areas with excellent results.

Q: What makes up the PIONAIR air system?
A: The system consists of a base and a lamp module. The lamp module is interchangeable, giving you flexibility to use the system in various situations and size areas. There are no moving parts or messy filters to clean.

Q: How does the PIONAIR Work?
A: The Pionair duplicates Nature's own methods: UV light, safe levels of ozone, & negative ions.

Think Air Pollution Isn't a Problem Inside? Guess Again!

There are many sources of indoor air pollution. These include bacteria, mold, and mildew brought inside by everyday activities such as going in and out, opening windows, or using your heating and air conditioning systems.

Smoke, pet waste and dander, formaldehyde from carpets, furniture, and drapes, are all contributors to an unhealthy indoor air environment. Even daily cleaning doesn't solve the problem, as the contaminants are constantly being reintroduced. To be effective, you must deal with this around the clock.

You and your family are at risk.

  • Those who are most susceptible to indoor air pollution are the ones who are home the most: children, pregnant women, the elderly, and those with chronic illnesses.

  • Air pollution contributes to lung disease... Over the last decade, the death rate for lung disease has risen faster than for almost any other major disease.

  • Indoor air, including the air in your home or apartment, can be even more polluted than the outdoor air of a big city. Many of today's newer homes with weather-tight construction and inadequate ventilation actually have higher levels of unhealthy air than some older, draftier homes.

What do the independent experts say?

  • A rule of thumb states that a pollutant released indoors in 1000 times more likely to reach people's lungs than a pollutant released outdoors.

  • As dangerous as polluted outdoor air can be to health, indoor air pollution actually poses a greater health risk on a global level... [home] improvements sometimes make houses relatively airtight, reducing ventilation and raising indoor pollutant levels. Toxic Mold - Click here for information about toxic mold.

  • Research indicates that people spend approximately 90 percent of their time indoors. Thus, for many people, the risks to health may be greater due to exposure to air pollution indoors than outdoors.
